Early detection of liver diseases can help prevent a patient develop liver cancer. The latest ultrasound system provides a comprehensive liver imaging package, with a range of new imaging technologies, that allows clinicians to detect and stage liver disease, enabling a more confident diagnosis and efficient treatment planning.

In the first half of the workshop, the problem of accurately diagnosing liver diseases will be presented, as well as an overview of new technologies to quantify and stage these diseases. In the second part of the workshop, these technologies will be demonstrated in practice during a live scan.

Clinical value of ultra-high frequencies in MSK and Small Parts.

Seeing more clinical detail with ultrasound can make MSK and Small Parts exams go faster and more cost efficient. Today’s ultrasound system utilizes frequencies up to 33 MHz to provide unprecedented detail in the near field. Combined with innovative tools such as SMI, clinicians can now detect micro-vascularization in minute structures which further helps to diagnose abnormalities before they become a serious problem.
