The Department for International Trade’s: Northern Powerhouse Mission to Arab Health 2019 delivered by Medilink North of England is heading to Arab Health in January on a mission that will significantly boost the healthcare and life science economy in the North of England.
The team behind the mission will take over 60 Northern companies from the healthcare and life science industry to Arab Health and introduce them to individuals and companies from across the globe, at one of the largest healthcare exhibitions in the world.
The mission to Arab Health will allow Northern healthcare and life science companies to meet, network and trade with global companies which will create a huge boost to the Northern healthcare and life science economy, creating jobs and opportunities and securing millions of pounds of international trade.
Life Sciences Regional Sector Specialist at the Department of International Trade and International Manager at Medilink North of England, Tom Elliot said: “We are thrilled to be, once again, delivering the mission on behalf of The Department for International Trade: Northern Powerhouse to Arab Health alongside 60+ healthcare and life science companies from the North of England.
“Arab Health is one of the biggest health care exhibitions in the world and an incredible opportunity for companies from the North of England to meet global companies and discuss trade opportunities.
“For some companies attending Arab Health in January, it’s their first international business trip for others, they are seasoned travellers – heading back to the UAE, knowing only too well the benefits and opportunities it provides.
“In previous years, we have seen millions of pounds of international trade secured in the North of England following Arab Health. Jobs have been created, companies have doubled in size and we have seen an incredible boost to the economy, here in the North of England.”
Companies from across the North West, North East and Yorkshire and the Humber will head to Dubai from the 28-31 of January 2019.
This year’s exhibition, held at the Dubai World Trade Centre can expect over 4,000 exhibiting companies, 84,500 healthcare and trade professionals and over 160 counties represented.
Attending companies and individuals will have the chance to connect with manufacturers, purchasing and procurement experts, dealers and distributers and medical practitioners.
